be achieved by using WIX(tm) - multi-cell based Wireless Switched Ethernet
configuration. The radius of a single cell can reach up to 3000 feet (1000m) in
open space.
Fast and seamless roaming between adjacent cells extends the coverage area to whole
buildings or campus.
Antenna diversity and a DSP modem with adaptive equalization provide optimal and robust
performance under multipath fading and interference.
The BreezeNET PRO.11 product line is designed to meet the
IEEE 802.11 standard and regulations for license-free installation.
The BreezeNET PRO.11 Four Port Workgroup Adapter (SA-40 PRO.11)
is a high-speed, wide-range Wireless LAN adapter. The SA-40 PRO.11 provides
wireless connectivity for up to four Ethernet-equipped workstations or PCs. The SA-40
PRO.11 is transparent to the workstations' hardware and software, enabling plug
& play installation. An embedded SNMP agent and software download capabilities ensure
smooth network management.
Through the BreezeNET PRO.11 Access Point (AP-10),
computers connected to the SA-40 PRO.11 can access other enterprise network
resources such as servers and printers. Workstations connected to the SA-40 PRO.11
can also communicate directly with each other, as well as to any other workstation within
its coverage area.
The SA-40 PRO.11 is an ideal solution for a wide variety of applications
such as fast and easy extension to wired or wireless LAN, wire elimination in open space
offices or backup and disaster recovery. The SA-40 PRO.11 is particularly
