2.4 GHz Spread Spectrum

Description

  • The MDR2400 2.4 GHz Digital Radio provides short to medium range, point-to-point digital communication with high data security at rates up to 2.048 Mbit/s.     
  • The MDR2400 series use a split Indoor Unit (IU) and Outdoor Unit (OU) configuration for lowest loss between antenna and transceiver, ensuring better long-range performance than one-piece systems.     
  • The MDR2400-D Outdoor Unit uses a Type-N RF output connector for connection to any 2.4 GHz antenna for applications where long range or multiple system co-location is important .     
  • The product makes use of Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum technology and may be operated license-free in the 2.4 GHz ISM band.     
  • The OU offers two software adjustable frequency plans.     
  • The Indoor Unit provides the user interface and status display information.     
  • The IU occupies only 1U of 19" rack space and is available with an E1 or a T1 interface card.     
  • Interconnection between OU and IU is achieved by low cost data cable.     
  • The system is available as a high power FCC version or a standard power ETSI version.     
  • The MDR Network Management System provides control and management of networks and SNMP support ensures open network management compatibility.     
  • Comprehensive data and RF loop-back functions ensure that the system is easy to install and maintain.
