Two-Channels
Two separate full-duplex data channels are provided, each independently scalable by the operator. The total maximum capacity of the radio (both channels combined) is 512 kbps, depending on the operator’s selection.

This unique feature results in lower cost per line to the user. It also provides flexibility to increase the capacity on both channels in the future, as demands grow. This feature can often relieve the need for external multiplexers.

Full-Featured
Built-in orderwire provides an easy means for private telephone connections between radio sites.

Open network management yields flexibility for operators with central equipment monitoring facilities.

The one-piece indoor design, loopback functions, flexible power connections and external adjustments result in a system that is easy to install and maintain. Also, wide temperature operation allows users to install LYNX.sc in outdoor cabinets or shelters without additional air conditioning or heating.

Applications
LYNX.sc radio modems are easily connected to voice, data or video sources. Wireless point-to-point link distances range from less than 1 km to more than 80 km line-of-site. Hub and repeater configurations are also easily configured.

Typical applications include rural telephone and remote data connections, such as Internet service provision or inter-building extensions of LAN or PBX systems.

Rectangle
The LYNX.sc is a radio modem family that provides point-to-point wireless communications using spread spectrum technology. Certified under Part 15.247 of the FCC rules, any user (private, wireless service operator or government) may operate LYNX.sc in the U.S. and many other countries without a user license. LYNX.sc radios can be installed quickly and easily without time-consuming and expensive frequency coordination or licensing.

Available in either the 2.4 GHz or 5.8 GHz ISM band, the LYNX.sc fractional capacity models provide full-duplex synchronous communications from 56 kbps to 512 kbps. The LYNX.sc family also offers single and multiple T1 (1.544 Mbps) as well as single and multiple E1 (2.048 Mbps) full-duplex capacities in both the 2.4 and 5.8 GHz ISM band.
